Sophie had a beach themed party on Saturday to celebrate her 7th birthday. Activities included limbo, a pinata, water balloon toss and the giant water slide. Several friends from the neighborhood and school came to help her celebrate. Sophie had a great time, before she went to bed on Saturday night she told Wendy and I that she had the best friends in the world!

I'm so glad Soph has friends that she loves. They look like they have so much fun together. That's sweet that the slide toppled over on you! How'd that happen? We've had four adults on that thing together and you all make fun of me for being uncoordinated! I wish we could be there for Soph's bday. Give her a big love for me and make sure to post pictures of the family birthday party.
It was more the wind than my balance that led to the tip over. I'll take photos at the family party but I can't promise much action. Maybe I can carry Grandma Ruthie up the slide for a ride?
Brian, I don't know if you were wondering what to get for brooke and I for christmas or not but i'm pretty sure that if you sent Ruthie down that slide, it would pretty much cover any and all presents for the rest of our lives. Just be sure you take a bunch of pictures.
